Governance

The Governing Body

Castle Hall Academy and Old Bank Academy have a shared Local Governing Body, which is responsible for ensuring that the academies provide the best possible quality education for the students of Castle Hall Academy and Old Bank Academy

Whilst the Headteacher and respective Heads of School are responsible for the day-to-day management of the academies, the Local Governing Body is involved in developing the academies aims and policies as well as a number of other important duties including, monitoring and evaluating the academies effectiveness and holding the academies to account for their performance.
